Five-round program Fertilization & weed control.
A season-long program that feeds the lawn when it can use it and stops weeds before they take hold. Timed to soil temperature, applied by certified technicians, with notes after every visit.
- Rounds
- Five per season
- Season
- April – November
- Timing
- Soil temperature, not the calendar
- Heads-up
- Notice before every visit
Every round includes.
The goal is turf thick enough to crowd weeds out on its own. Feeding comes first; treatment goes only where it’s needed.
-
01
Seasonal feeding
Granular, slow-release fertilizer blended for the time of year, so growth stays even instead of surging.
-
02
Weed spot treatment
Dandelion, clover, creeping charlie and other broadleaf weeds treated where they appear, not blanket-sprayed.
-
03
Crabgrass prevention
A pre-emergent barrier in early spring, applied before soil temperatures reach the mid-50s.
-
04
Lawn health check
We look at color, density, insects and disease on every visit and flag anything that needs attention.
-
05
Visit notes
What we applied, why, and anything you should do (or avoid) for the next few days.
-
06
Kid and pet guidance
Clear re-entry timing after each application so nobody has to guess.
The program
Five rounds, timed right.
Grass responds to soil temperature, not the date. A product applied two weeks too early does little; the same product at the right moment does its job for months.
We track soil temperatures through the season and schedule each round accordingly, so the window, not the calendar, decides when we show up.
- Round 1 · Early spring
- Pre-emergent crabgrass control and a light feeding
- Round 2 · Late spring
- Feeding plus broadleaf weed control
- Round 3 · Early summer
- Slow-release feeding; grub prevention available
- Round 4 · Late summer
- Feeding and weed control as the heat breaks
- Round 5 · Fall
- Winterizer for root growth and an early spring green-up
Fertilization questions.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes, when re-entry guidance is followed. We leave notes after every visit with how long to keep kids and pets off the lawn, which is typically until the product is watered in or has dried.
How long until weeds die off?
Most broadleaf weeds curl and fade within 10 to 14 days. Tough perennial weeds like creeping charlie can take two rounds.
Do I need to water after a treatment?
Granular fertilizer works best watered in within a day or two. Weed treatments need to stay on the leaf, so hold off watering for 24 hours. Your visit notes will say which applies.
I’m planning to seed. Will the program interfere?
It can, because pre-emergent stops grass seed as well as crabgrass. Tell us your plans and we’ll adjust the spring round or schedule seeding for fall.
Do you test soil?
On request, and we recommend it for lawns that have struggled for years. A soil test tells us whether pH or nutrients are holding the turf back.
